Business need: 10.000 pages of technical documents from Greek to English and vice versa. The types of documents that needed translations were: operation and maintenance manuals for pumps, hoists and cranes, dc-up and ac systems, generators, sampling systems, air compressors and dryers, fire-fighting equipment, steam turbine vents, drain systems, environmental parameters etc.

We handled: The translation of 12.000 words (TEP) from English to Romanian of technical documents in the field of Mechanical drawings (Earthing of bridges, safety plates, rail connections, catenary signs). The challenges were that this unique project had specific subject matter requirements and a tight deadline of 1 week during the holiday season. On top of that the source files were in Autocad and needed to be converted for translation and editing purposes and then converted back to .dwg extension.
